Content Editing: 40 dollars per hour
This type of editing often involves extensive revision for clarification and legibility of the text. Research may also be necessary. Often, a client will be unaware of a necessary content revision. In such cases (unless I have permission to edit content per contractual agreement), I will consult with the client to point out unclear or confusing passages before revising the text.
Copy Editing & Proofreading: 25 dollars per hour
This involves grammar and spelling corrections. Depending upon the document, an assignment generally takes approximately 10-15 minutes per page to complete.
